If you are a beaver, cub scout, or a scout at Normacot Scouts, then you can take part in our competition for to design a Halloween look for our Website.
The winning design will be selected later this year, and will be used on this website over the halloween period. The winner will also receive a trophy, with their name on it.
So, if you want to have a go, start thinking creative, and have some fun at the same time. You can find more information below.
What kind of design can I make?
You can make any design that you like. There are no restrictions, apart from a halloween theme of course.
To give you an idea, here is a design that I quickly made, but you can do whatever you like:

Can I enter?
If you are a beaver, cub scout, or a scout at Normacot Scouts, then you can enter this competition.
How do I enter?
To make this competition available to everybody in the Normacot Scout Group, you can enter the competition in a variety of ways:
- By Email:
If you have a computer and have access to the internet, then you can create your design on the computer, using and software that you prefer. If you know how to compress the file into a "ZIP" file, please do this before sending via email. You can then email it to the following address:

Ensure that you include your name and age on the email, so that we can identify you if your design is chosen as the winner. - By CD/DVD/USB Disk
If you have a computer, but do not have access to the internet, then you can still create your design on the computer, using and software that you prefer. After doing this, simply save your design onto a CD/DVD/USB Disk and hand it to one of your leaders at your meeting. Also include a text file on the disk that includes your name and age, so that we can identify you if your design is chosen as the winner. If you use a USB disk, this will be returned to you. - By Hand to a leader
You can also draw / print (if you have a computer) your design onto an A4 peice of paper. Ensure that you include your name and age in one corner of the design, so that we can identify you if your design is chosen as the winner. After doing this, simply hand it to one of your leaders at your meeting.
When does the competition end?
There is currently no fixed end date for this competition, but we estimate it will end around early September.
The good news, is that this gives you lots of time to come up with your design for the Halloween look for our website.
Is there a prize for the winner?
Yes, the winner of this competition will see their design transformed onto the website for all to see.
As well as this, the winner will receive a trophy with their name on it.
Who will decide the winner?
We will decide the winning design, after looking at all the designs received.
